• dkNET Summer of Data Student Program Kicks Off The dkNET Summer of Data Student Program has kicked off on June 22, 2026, welcoming students from diverse backgrounds to explore bioinformatics, data science, and biomedical research through hands-on training, discussions, and collaborative projects during the eight-week virtual program.

Jul. 12-16, 2026 Meet the dkNET Team at ISMB 2026 (Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology)

ISMB 2026, ISCB’s flagship conference, returns to Washington, DC—the city where ISCB and ISMB began in 1993. This milestone event will celebrate more than 30 years of advancing computational biology and bringing together researchers from across the field to share innovations in bioinformatics and data science.

Jul. 15-17, 2026 2026 Epigenetic Inheritance Symposium

The 2026 Epigenetic Inheritance Symposium will bring together researchers to explore how environmental exposures and life experiences influence phenotypes across generations. The program will highlight molecular, cellular, behavioral, and evolutionary perspectives, with key topics including germline mechanisms, RNA-mediated and chromatin-based inheritance, parental effects, developmental plasticity, and the role of epigenetic variation in human health and disease.
