Comments: IHC, WB, ELISA. This antibody works superbly in Immunohistochemistry on frozen or paraffin embedded tissues. Antigen retrieval has been used in testing but may not be necessary. Typical working dilutions for routine immunohistochemistry are 1: 100 to 1: 1000 depending on tissue and detection method. For western blotting a dilution range of 1: 500 to 1: 2000 is recommended. A dilution of 1: 1000 to 1: 2000 is recommended for ELISA. This antiserum stains the cytoplasm of epithelial cells in the rat and mouse lung and rat and human brain astrocytes. It stains human brain astrocytes in Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease and the central core of some Lewy bodies in Parkinson's disease and dementia with Lewy bodies. Other tissues have not yet been tested. Biosensis recommends optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Can't find your Antibody?
We recommend that you click next to the search bar to check some helpful tips on searches and refine your search firstly. If you want to find a specific antibody, it's easier to enter an RRID or a Catalog Number to search. You can refine the search results using Facets on the left side of the search results page. If you are on the table view, you can also search in a specific column by clicking the column title and enter the keywords.
If you still could not find your antibody in the search results, please help us by registering it into the system — it's easy. Register it with The Antibody Registry (an Antibody Registry account is required. Create a free Antibody Registry account if you don't have one yet). An RRID will be generated in 1-2 business days.
