This pilot funding program, through the NIDDK Information Network (dkNET, https://dknet.org), is designed to capitalize on the rapid advances in AI and other data science areas in addressing major gaps in the study of Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) heterogeneity, including opportunities in extracting knowledge from the enormous amount of data and literature, and in recruiting AI experts to this area of domain science.
