RRID:CVCL_5239 Homo sapiens (Human) Cutaneous melanoma Caution: The reported STR profile from Wistar of this cell line was changed at one point between February 2016 when we retrieved them and entered them in Cellosaurus and May 2018. The major changes were: Amelogenin., Characteristics: Established from serial passaging of the parent cell line through immune deficient mice and harvesting lung metastasis., Population: Caucasian., Part of: Wistar Institute melanoma cell line collection., Problematic cell line: Partially contaminated. The stock formerly distributed by Coriell (WC00058) contains a significant amount of mouse DNA (DOI=10.4172/1948-5956.1000196). This is not the case of the original Wistar stock which was distributed by Rockland (DOI=10.4172/1948-5956.1000401).. PMID:2068080

RRID:CVCL_E8AV Homo sapiens (Human) Childhood T acute lymphoblastic leukemia Virology: Susceptible to infection by CXCR4-tropic HIV-1 strains (example HXB2) (PubMed=17182760)., Virology: Infected with Moloney murine leukemia virus (MoMuLV) from MiCl1 (S+L-) (Cellosaurus=CVCL_3405) cells (from parent cell line HPB-Ma)., Characteristics: Transfected with two constructs. 1) 53LTRN-lucneoR#1 which contains the HIV-1 strain HXB2 LTR driving the expression of a Luc-DsRed fusion protein. This allows HIV-1 replication to be quantitatively evaluated by using luciferase activity when the LTR is activated by Tat, and the DsRed gene allows HIV-1 infected cells to be identified by red fluorescence. 2) pRenillaPac where Renilla luciferase is under the control of a CMV promoter and is used to monitor cell numbers and viability (PubMed=17182760)., Characteristics: Reporter cell line to measure HIV-1 infectivity and thus evaluate susceptibility to anti-HIV-1 drugs (PubMed=17182760)., Population: Japanese. Can't find your Cell Line?

We recommend that you click next to the search bar to check some helpful tips on searches and refine your search firstly. If you want to find a specific cell line, it's easier to enter an RRID or add the vendor information to search. You can refine the search results using Facets on the left side of the search results page. If you are on the table view, you can also search in a specific column by clicking the column title and enter the keywords.

If you still could not find your cell line in the search results, please help us by registering it into the system — it's easy. Register it with the Cellosaurus. An RRID will be generated in 1-2 business days.

    2. You can manually AND and OR terms to change how we search between words
    3. You can add "-" to terms to make sure no results return with that term in them (ex. Cerebellum -CA1)
    4. You can add "+" to terms to require they be in the data
    5. Using autocomplete specifies which branch of our semantics you with to search and can help refine your search
  5. Collections

If you are logged into dkNET you can add data records to your collections to create custom spreadsheets across multiple sources of data.
