Description: Rattus norvegicus with name TRMR/Kyo from RGD.
Species: Rattus norvegicus
Notes: Tremor Rat which was found in a colony of outbred Wistar/Kyo in 1980 was separated to Tanabe Seiyaku Co., Ltd. in 1982. This strain is a substrain of TRM/Kyo and does not show tremor behavior. This strain carrying wild type Hcn1, is considered as segregating inbred strain of TRM. National BioResource Project for the Rat in Japan
