Target Antigen: IGFBP2 antibody
Host Organism: rabbit
Clonality: polyclonal
Comments: Discontinued; manufacturer recommendations: IgG; IgG IP: 4µl immunoprecipitated IGFBP 2 from 600µl of concentrated T98G serum free culture supernatant. WB: Use at a dilution of 1/1000 - 1/2000. This detects IGFBP 2 in concentrated T98G serum free culture supernatant. T98G cell culture supernatant was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti IGFBP 2 (1/1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system. Predicted molecular weight: 32kDa. Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user. Immunoprecipitation, Western blot.; Western Blot; Immunoprecipitation

dkNET can assist you in preparing authentication plans for antibodies to comply with the NIH Submission Policy. The information can be used while planning your experiments or submitting grant applications. The authentication plan for antibodies is based on methods suggested in "A proposal for validation of antibodies" (Uhlen M et. al., 2016), the guideline published in the Journal of Comparative Neurology (Saper C, 2005)(2), and the example " Authentication of of Key Biological and/or Chemical Resources "(Bandrowski A). For best practices for authenticating antibodies, check our Authentication Reports services.
