Description: Cell line HeLa GFP-LC3-RFP-LC3deltaG is a Cancer cell line with a species of origin Homo sapiens (Human)
Sex: Female
Disease: Human papillomavirus-related endocervical adenocarcinoma
Defining Citation: PMID:27818143
Comments: Characteristics: Stably expresses EGFP-LC3-mRFP-LC3delta, an autophagic flux probe. GFP-LC3 is fused to the N-terminus of RFP-LC3 whose C-terminal glycine is deleted. When expressed, the probe it is separated into EGFP-LC3 and mRFP-LC3deltaG by the action of endogenous ATG4 family proteases that cleave the peptide bond after the C-terminal glycine of LC3 in the cytosol producing equimolar amounts of EGFP-LC3 and mRFP-LC3deltaG., Population: African American.

dkNET can assist you in preparing authentication plans for cell lines to comply with the NIH Submission Policy. The information can be used while planning your experiments or submitting grant applications. The authentication plan for the cell lines is based on the International Cell Line Authentication Committee (ICLAC)'s "Cell Line Checklist for Manuscripts and Grant Applications" and the example "Authentication of of Key Biological and/or Chemical Resources "(Bandrowski A). For best practices for authenticating cell lines, check our Authentication Reports services.
