Description: Cell line PathHunter HEK 293 IkappaB Degradation is a Transformed cell line with a species of origin Homo sapiens (Human)
Sex: Female
Comments: Characteristics: PathHunter degradation cell lines express a target protein tagged with a beta-galactosidase fragment (Enzyme Donor=ED). Pathway activation results in the degradation of the target protein. The degraded protein is detected by adding to the cell lysis buffer another beta-galactosidase fragment (Enzyme Acceptor=EA). Complementation of the ED and EA enzyme fragments result into a catalytically active enzyme that generate a chemiluminescent signal.

dkNET can assist you in preparing authentication plans for cell lines to comply with the NIH Submission Policy. The information can be used while planning your experiments or submitting grant applications. The authentication plan for the cell lines is based on the International Cell Line Authentication Committee (ICLAC)'s "Cell Line Checklist for Manuscripts and Grant Applications" and the example "Authentication of of Key Biological and/or Chemical Resources "(Bandrowski A). For best practices for authenticating cell lines, check our Authentication Reports services.
