Comments: Characteristics: Transfected with a construct containing four copies to the 22-amino-acid peptide ligand from phage lambda N protein (lambda-N22), spaced by a 21 amino acid linker (PPLDGAGAGAGAGAGAGGLAT) and fused to 3 monomeric meGFP and a M9 nuclear localization signal. This construct allows binding to a 15-nt RNA hairpin termed boxB that can be fused to any RNA molecule allowing specific RNA visualization in live cells (PubMed=17603490).
