In 2016, we interviewed scientists and performed an online survey to the dkNET community. We listened to the great feedback and implemented changes to our portal. Thanks to all who contributed in this survey! We are pleased to announce some updates on the dkNET Literature result page. Please check out these new features and let us know if you have any suggestions.
More Links are Provided for Publications - New Literature Pages:
We have released the new Literature page for individual publications. While the user searches under Literature, in the result page (example link), Literature links now connect to the new literature internal pages. The external links still connect to PubMed.
The new Literature pages provide users with additional information about publications. This includes research resources, data, associated grants and related publications.
View an example of the literature page by clicking here.
In addition, the new pages will allow us to add additional literature sources (e.g. pre-print archives).
Share the Literature Page with Friends in Just One Click
We have added share buttons to make the literature page sharable directly to e-mail and social networks. Users can now easily share the new dkNET Literature pages to Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or other social network services with one click.
Manage Literature - Save Literature of Interest for Later
We have expanded the Collections feature to Literature. Publications can now be added to Collections. This enables the users to save Literature items for later reference and export.
