Call for Papers: Molecular and Cellular Endocrinology Special Issue - Omics of Nuclear Receptor Signaling Pathways [EXTENDED DEADLINE: Feb. 28, 2017]

Scope of the special issue: We seek submissions that describe the cellular impact of nuclear receptor signaling pathways using discovery scale profiling of protein-protein interactions, protein post-translational modifications, gene expression, DNA-binding and cellular metabolites. Although manuscripts will be expected to contain some level of experiental validation to confirm selected data points, they will not necessarily be expected to contain the same level of mechanistic exposition associated with regular primary research articles. The Nuclear Receptor Signaling Atlas (NURSA) Biocuration team will work with authors of accepted manuscripts to format their datasets for inclusion in the NURSA database, a resource of currently nearly 500 datasets totaling 40,000,000 data points encompassing numerous NR signaling pathways and physiological systems. Final published articles will contain a link to the underlying dataset, which will in turn act as a portal into the entire universe of data points in NURSA Transcriptomine Guest Editor: Neil J McKenna, Baylor College of Medicine. EES open for submissions: August 31, 2016.
