Student Internship Opportunity: SenNet Consortium Underrepresented Student Program (CUSP)

Here is the information from SenNet (Cellular Senescence Network):

"SenNet aims to comprehensively identify and characterize the differences in senescent cells across the body and lifespan, and to ultimately provide publicly accessible atlases of senescent cells in humans and mice as well as innovative tools and technologies for single cell analysis. The SenNet Consortium Underrepresented Student Program (CUSP) is a paid, summer research experience for undergraduate students from underrepresented backgrounds (see NIH criteria) to be placed in SenNet labs across the country. The internship will provide an opportunity for students to build connections, gain scientific skills, and conduct research in single cell biology.

Eligible students are:

  • College undergraduates at a U.S. institution at the time of application,
  • Pursuing a major in a STEM field with a minimum 2.5 GPA,
  • Members of an underrepresented  group (as defined by NIH).

More details about the opportunity and application process can be found at https://sennetconsortium.org/internship/. Please consider visiting the NIH Common Fund’s SenNet webpage to learn more about the program. Inquiries or requests for more information should be directed to cusp@sennetconsortium.org."

Application deadline: March 15, 2023
