Integrated Animals is a virtual database currently indexing available animal strains and mutants from: AGSC (Ambystoma), BCBC (mice), BDSC (flies), European Xenopus Resource Center (frog), The National Xenopus Resource (frog), Xenopus Express (frog), CWRU Cystic Fibrosis Mouse Models (mice), DGGR (flies), FlyBase (flies), IMSR (mice), MGI (mice), MMRRC (mice), NSRRC (pig), RGD (rats), Sperm Stem Cell Libraries for Biological Research (rats), Tetrahymena Stock Center (Tetrahymena), WormBase (worms), XGSC (Xiphophorus), ZFIN (zebrafish), and ZIRC (zebrafish). Note, the IMSR data is linked, but users may need to re-execute the search if the top mouse is not returned properly.
Note: BCBC is no longer in service, so the links may not be functional.

Source Database: Rat Genome Database (RGD)
Genetic Background: congenic
Availability: Unknown
Alternate IDs: 1599675
Notes: The BBDP/WorSunn rats were crossed with inbred WF rats (that share the same MHC haplotype as BBDP/WorSunn rats but differ at the CD45 allele) obtained from Charles River. Introgression of the WF CD45 (RT7.2) allele into BBDP/WorSunn was performed by phenotypic selection of backcross breeders for >10 generations, followed by intercrossing. This led to WF RT7.2 allele introgressed onto the genetic background of BBDP rats and also called BBDP/WorSunn.WF-CD45 inbred line.

https://rgd.mcw.edu/rgdweb/report/strain/main.html?id=1302702

Source Database: Rat Genome Database (RGD)
Genetic Background: segregating_inbred
Availability: Live Animals; Cryopreserved Embryo; Cryopreserved Sperm (as of 2018-01-03)
Alternate IDs: 1302702
Notes: In 1980, a spontaneous tremor mutant rat was found in the colony of Kyo:Wistar (Yamada, 1985). This disorder was found to be caused by an autosomal recessive gene and was designated tremor (tm). Deletion of Aspa gene was identified in the animal with no aspartoacylase activity in the brain and measurable level of activity in the kidney. TRM was established as a segregating inbred strain. In F18 progeny, a rat which did not have tm mutation was separated and established as a control strain of WTC (NBRP No.0020). (Dec 8, 2010) National BioResource Project for the Rat in Japan

Can't find your Organism?

We recommend that you click next to the search bar to check some helpful tips on searches and refine your search firstly. If you want to find a specific organism, it's easier to enter an RRID or a Catalog Number to search. You can refine the search results using Facets on the left side of the search results page. If you are on the table view, you can also search in a specific column by clicking the column title and enter the keywords.

If you still could not find your organism in the search results, please help us by registering it into the system — it's easy. Organisms identifiers are registered through multiple sources depending on the species:
