Susceptible to seizures induced by pentylenetetrazol, tossing and transcorneal electric shock, but not tactile, photic or acoustic stimuli or transauricular electric shock. No pathologic changes have been found in the CNS. The condition appears to be inherited as an autosomal recessive gene and is comparable to generalised tonic-clonic seizures in humans.
