Its core activities consist of managing the VIB screening collections, assisting researchers in assay development / automation and performing high-throughput screenings. After hit clustering and selection, the VIB-CSF team can contribute in structure-activity analysis, IC50 measurements, cytotoxicity analysis, secondary screening for hit validation and counter screening for specificity analysis.
