Summary: Here we studied the genetic polymorphism of the ribosomal 12S and protein-coding ND2 mitochondrial genes in three closely related taxa of the Daphnia (Daphnia) longispina complex, namely D. galeata Sars, D. longispina O.F. Müller and D. dentifera Forbes, and performed an analysis of phylogenetic relationships between these taxa based on concatenated sequences of two genes.
