Proper Citation: RRID:WB-STRAIN:WBStrain00026695
Description: Caenorhabditis elegans with name dpy-17(e164) ncl-1(e1865) unc-36(e251) III; irDp1 (III;f). from WB.
Species: Caenorhabditis elegans
Synonyms: dpy-17(e164) ncl-1(e1865) unc-36(e251) III; irDp1 (III;f).
Notes: Mutagen:spontaneous|"Superficially WT. Pick WT to propagate. Throws WT (expressing unc-119::YFP) and DpyUncs. irDp1 is sDp3 carrying a spontaneous integrant of an array carrying unc-119::YFP + unc-32(+) + med-1(+), originally generated in BC4638. irDp1 appears to complement everything sDp3 does and has a similar meiotic transmission frequency of 60%. In another strain, irDp2 was observed to lose ability to complement dpy-17. irDp1 confers a progressive adult egg laying defect (also seen with sDp3)."
Affected Gene: WBGene00001076(dpy-17)|WBGene00003559(ncl-1)|WBGene00006772(unc-36)

Description: Central data repository for nematode biology including complete genomic sequence, gene predictions and orthology assignments from range of related nematodes.Data concerning genetics, genomics and biology of C. elegans and related nematodes. Derived from initial ACeDB database of C. elegans genetic and sequence information, WormBase includes genomic, anatomical and functional information of C. elegans, other Caenorhabditis species and other nematodes. Maintains public FTP site where researchers can find many commonly requested files and datasets, WormBase software and prepackaged databases.
