Notes: The transgene of LE-Tg(Cx3cr1-cre)3Ottc (RGD: 13441557) was crossed onto Fischer344 background by backcrossing the hybrid to Fischer344 and select for the presence of transgene. The donor LE transgenic was generated by microinjection of LE embyos with a BAC DNA containing the Cx3cr1-cre/ERT2 transgene which is composed of cre/ERT2 recombinase gene driven by the rat genomic Cx3cr1promoter.
