How to Find NIDDK Funding Opportunities

1. Find Current and Forecasted NIDDK Funding Opportunities (Grants.gov)

To view current and forecasted NIDDK funding opportunities:

Go to this Grants.gov search link:https://simpler.grants.gov/search?utm_source=Grants.gov&query=%2293.847%22&sortby=postedDateDesc

This will display the most recently posted NIDDK opportunities, including forecasted announcements.

2. Find Current and Forecasted NIDDK and Trans-NIH Funding Opportunities (Grants.gov)

To view current and forecasted NIDDK and trans-NIH funding opportunities:

Go to this Grants.gov search link:https://simpler.grants.gov/search?utm_source=Grants.gov&query=%2293.847%22+%2293.310%22&andOr=OR&sortby=postedDateDesc

This search includes opportunities supported by NIDDK as well as all trans-NIH initiatives.

3. Find Only Currently Open NIDDK and NIDDK-Participating trans-NIH Funding Opportunities

To view only currently open funding opportunities (excluding forecasted announcements) and only NIDDK-Participating trans-NIH funding opportunities:

(1) Go to the NIH Grants & Funding page: https://grants.nih.gov/funding/explore-nih-opportunities

(2) Under Funding Organization(s), select NIDDK from the drop-down menu.

(3) The newest funding opportunities will appear at the top of the list.

(4) Use Advanced Search to further refine by activity code, clinical trial status, or other criteria.

This view shows funding opportunities where NIDDK is participating and that are currently open for application.
