T1D Exchange and lead sponsors JDRF and The Helmsley Charitable Trust are pleased to announce the 2018 Diabetes Innovation Challenge. This open, global competition seeks to identify and accelerate advancements in diagnostics, therapeutics, devices, or solutions that aim to improve patient outcomes for those living with diabetes.

The goal of the Challenge is to

• identify the most promising innovations in diabetes
• present them to our network of funders, investors, and partners from academia and industry and
• award the top innovations with cash and in-kind support to help them advance the development of their products.

Ultimately, the vision for the Diabetes Innovation Challenge is to accelerate transformation and delivery of discoveries to the patient community.
